só depois de cinco meses, desde que eu fiquei sabendo da remoção dos grampos da via do compressor no cerro torre, é que eu me sinto a vontade para dar minha opnião sobre o assunto. eu sempre achei e continuo achando que se deve respeitar o estilo/circunstâncias da conquista original de cada via que repetimos, e nunca alterar suas caracteristicas, a não ser para sair de uma roubada de vida ou morte.
eu não curto nem um pouco o estilo diretíssima, que andou em voga lá no inicio dos '70, tambem concordo, baseado nas fotos e descrições, que o cesare maestri mandou mal protegendo a cada 80 cm com grampos stubai de 1/4 ao longo da parede lisa, quando logo ali do lado havia sistemas de fenda de boa qualidade.
o que os meninos gringos (k&k) fizeram na escalada deles, liberando quase tudo, foi um feito e tanto. mas na descida erraram ao remover os grampos, ninguem pode alterar a via original, o first ascent dos outros, seja acrecentando ou removendo proteções.
se você quer ter sua propria aventura, va aonde os outros não foram.

five months after knowing about the removal of the compressor route bolts on cerro torre, is that I feel comfortable giving my opinions on the issue. I always thought and still think one should respect the style/unique circumstances of the first ascent of any climbing route we repeat, never change their style, only in the exceptional case of do or die situation.
I don't like the diretíssima style, that was in vogue in the early '70s. also agree, based on photos and descriptions, that cesare maestri over protected (every 80 cm with 1/4 inch Stubai) the wall, right beside a few good quality crack sistems.
those gringo boys (k & k) climb was an real achievement, freeing almost every pitch on the way up. but in the descent they made a big mistake chopping the bolts. nobody has the right to change the shape of other people first ascent, adding or removing any original protection.
